Nagarkot Sunrise

Nagarkot is a hill station in Kathmandu Valley. It lies 32 Km northeast from Kathmandu. Lying at an altitude of 2150 meters Nagarkot can be easily reached by road, cycling or by hiking and offers a variety of accommodation from simple hostels to fine resorts and hotels, something for everyone.

The famous Mount Everest is sometimes visible from some of the high points, especially on a clear day. In the mornings, one should not miss watching the sun rise over the mountains. It’s truly a breathtaking view that should be experienced at least once in a lifetime.

2. Hiking: Hike up to the lookout points to enjoy glorious views of the surrounding mountains and Himalayan peaks. On a clear day you are rewarded with stunning views of Ganesh Himal, Dorje Lakpa, Mount Everest, Kangchenjunga, Dhaulagiri and Langtang Lirung.
